Especially if they saw the original or any other Jim Carrey film. Ventura investigates the case and mocks, mimics and generally acts goofy throughout the movie. It seems the bat has spiritual meaning to two African tribes, the Wachati and Wachootoo, and if it isn't returned, the tribes will declare war on each other. PLOT: Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) who's in retirement from the pet detective business, is hired back into active duty to find a missing bat. QUICK TAKE: Comedy: A pet detective must find a missing bat to prevent a tribal war from breaking out. ![]()
